How to braid a bull whip?

Maybe someone could show me a website or tell me what the braids name is the people use to make them? Thanks.

the most common braid for whips is the herringbone plait aka the square or round plait. For Indiana Jones style whips the handle is plaited in a daimond or checkerboard braid at the end is a crown not that holds the fall attached to the whip
