How to disassemble a timex expedition?

I have a timex expedition trail combo, product number t49742. I want to disassemble it to apply illumination to the dial. Oh, and if there is a way to make the watch's ticks silent, that'd be great.

EDIT: Thanks for all the comments so far. I have pretty decent glow in the dark powder, which is supposed to last 24 hours. I've applied it to my knives, as well as other objects, and they are all doing pretty well. The lumination on the timex expedition is pretty weak, and it really doesn't do anything, I need to use the backlight. Sometimes, such as when I'm driving, I want to just look and read the time. So I planned on opening the watch to apply the glow, via epoxy, to the dial.

I've opened the watch, taken the battery out, and that's it. I can't figure out how to reach the face of the watch and access the dial hands.

How do you plan to add the lighting?

If the back cover isn't held down by screws then it should have a grove along the edge that you can get a small flat head screwdriver and pop it right off. After that you'll have to ply it by ear to see how best to remove the inner workings of the watch.
All the good timex's I've seen are properly screwed down, and as re-design says, its pretty toite in there.

I doubt that even if you get the watch apart that you'll be able to do anything more to it. Just getting the battery back in is tight. I have an exp. and there is NO and I'm not exaggerating on this there really is no room for anything else in the case.
