The principle at work is you need a computer capable of reading from flash memory and software to decode the file format into a series of signals that feed through a sound card to play the music through the speakers.
Which is to say...you need a "mp3 player". There are MP3 players that are just flash drives with a 3.5mm audio port and a play button.
Mpilchfamily has answered your question, However if you can program the Raspberry-Pi could be used to read a flash and tone it out a speaker.
