How to make a strobe effect for that LED strip to use for a magic or time fountain?

So, i bought a long LED strip with RGB, many colours, and some modes = fade, smooth, 1 of them is "strobe". I want to know how to put that in use to make a magic/time fountain... I dont get the electrical/scheme part that much so if any1 can help what piece should i buy and where to solder it, so i make a strobe effect, strong enough to use and put to make a magic/time fountain, thanks! The Leds i bought are exactly the same as those: http://www.amazon.com/SUPERNIGHT-Changing-Flexible-Remote-Control/dp/B00BP4DUMU/ref=sr_1_25?ie=UTF8&qid=1436227822&sr=8-25&keywords=led+strip at least the small white control box is the same on the outside, i made fotos on the inside so anybody who understands it can give me a hand :P .. if i manage to find something about how to make that strobe effect ill write back! thanks in advance!

well, thanks so much for the reply! just a si thought, its best to buy eather a UV LEDs 1 colour strip (violette probably) and use florescent water or super bright leds strip and just a strobe controller then :) thank you again :) any sugestions for for any already build strobe controller for a super bright leds or for uv leds? i mean i know how to use amazon and ebay, just dont know the right name of what im looking for ... anything with a potentionmeter to just connect to the led strip and controll the strobe of the leds? thanks again :)

Don't understand your issue. If you want it to strobe then set it to stobe and be done. If the strip has to cycle through the features to get to strobe when you first turn it on then you'll need to make a buy another controller that only turns them on and off rapidly.

Thank you so much for the quick response! thats what my question was. I mean i know i can just click on the strobe mode and it should work, but still .. those are leds of not that good quality and ove tried the strobe mode, it just wont make the effect on flowing water...my idea was to see if by changing a resistor or any chip on the board i will make the strobe mode go faster/slower or even make it work ... i got that RGB LEDs work with an RGB LEDs controller and a normal one wont work since it will be 1 colour only strobe control ... So what i need to know, is which kind of controller to buy to make all the RGB LEDs make the strobe effect, well a strobe effect to use for the fountain and where to connect it to? OR is it just better to build it all by myself using 1 colour only LEDs, just following the instructoins i found here .. Thanks again!

All that is pre set on the board's micro controller. Nothing you can do to change any of that. May be best to get a single strip of single color LEDs for this.

Yeah for a "Magic Fountain" you need far more percise, Custom, timing. Check the Instructable on the side of your page

With no experience at all you are better off buying a suitable controller.

Hi there! What "suitable controller" you will propose for me to buy, and do you know if there are any special or extra soldering etc to do? thanks

I don't get the question. The controller has 'strobe' and you want strobe effect...........

Is it just how to make a magic fountain> Many instructables tell you how.
