How will you celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing on the 22nd of July, 2009?
I am looking for ideas about recepies, decorations, etcetera, for celebrating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, on the 22nd of July, 2009.
Ideas which could fit in a small room in student accomadation would be good...
Let's party...
Here's a start, ummm....moonwalk everywhere...?
Hi, We came across this thread in our recent Googling for moon related material...
Thought you might be interested to hear that the significance of the July anniversary hasn't passed us by either. We've put out a download single 'Moonwalkers' - our homage to the 12 who walked...
Oh, sorry - Get a cheap thing that goes "beep": every time you speak, punctuate your sentences with beeps and other radio noises. Get some soft-packed drinks (pictured), empty them, refinish the outside with spray paint or duct-tape and refill with pureed food L
That's cool, but you could also have like a little LEM made of icing or something, and don't forget the little footsteps on the moon, or even you could make the cake a large scale replicon of the moon landing scene, with Neil Armstrong decending the ladder of the LEM, or the famous photograph, where Buzz Aldrin is standing on the surface of the moon, with Neil Armstrong reflected in his visor.

Search for moon-landing hoax websites and leave silly comments?
Wear my Scout World badge with pride (most of the Moonwalkers had been Scouts as boys).
