Instructables

I am an instructor at the CCST in North east , MD. and would like to use one of your projects.

I would like to receive the plans for the kids ride on crane project for use in my classroom.

Check the license of the specific project, but most authors use a license that means you can do what you like with it, as long as you share it for free, do not gain financially from using the project, and make sure the author is given full credit.

You may want to visit the Instructables for Teachers page for more information.

Among the project-related resources, you are also eligible for a free "pro" (paid) membership, with access to the PDF versions of all Instructables.

Instructables also welcomes the use of the site by classes for group projects. Several teachers have created project assignments which included the students doing their write-ups and "final reports" in the form of Instructables.

I'm not sure which project you mean, but currently, downloading projects (by pdf etc) is a Pro-Member feature only. You can either "Go Pro" or post a feature worthy Instructable to earn FREE Pro-Membership. Otherwise, you're welcome to make any project on the website.
Teachers are eligible for free PRO memberships; see my reply above.
Thanks for the heads up... I did not know that.

You're probably best off sending a message to the author of the project to see if they mind.
