I am looking for a driver circuit for a laser diode

this is the diode I am talking about http://za.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=6541866

I am looking for a circuit to build myself so if any body know of a place to find such info it would be greatly appreciated

There are many companies which manufactures a driver circuit for a laser diode. If you are looking to get the best quality driver circuit for a laser driver, you can contact or visit http://www.analogtechnologies.com/laserdriver.html .

Are you wanting to modulate the laser ? - If you just want to power the diode up to create a non-modulated beam, you can simply power it from two penlight batteries, with a current-limiting resistor in series. I did this and created a nice laser pointer in the body of a pocket torch.....replacing the bulb with the diode.

There's a diagram in this one:
(Otherwise I'm sure you can use Google as well as the rest of us)

Hie thanks for the reply I actually knew about that instructable but I weren't sure if that circuit would be compatible with my diode would that one work?

I wasn't too sure either.
Start at the top of the list (you may not need to go any further):
