I am looking for a quick and easy bread roll recipe?

Without the use of yeast! I know of a biscuit recipe, any others like it?

You can always make biscuits: (I grew up in the south and never used standard measurements... sorry)

sift:
About 3 cups Flour, salt, baking powder, small pinch baking soda (too much will cause a chemical taste), and a couple of tablespoons of sugar.

Cut in about a quarter cup of lard or butter (margarine does not work as well, it contains too much water)

Stir in enough milk or butter milk to form a soft dough. The trick is not to over work the dough ( if you stir it too much your biscuits will be tough and heavy)

You can either drop spoonfuls on to a baking sheet or use a biscuit cutter with SHARP edges to cut  biscuits out (if you use a drinking glass the edges may be flattened and they will not rise as well.)

Bake at 400 deg f until tops are touched with gold. Yum!!! Corn bread is also good in a hurry!

Here's one you can try.  If it's not the one you want then google "quick bread roll recipe" and see what you get.

Most all of them are going to use yeast since there is no other way to really get that light fluffy texture.  Those without yeast are going to be denser.

I like them either way.

Good luck.
You can prepare the dough ahead of time using extra yeast, then keep it in the freezer until you're ready to bake.
The question was for a receipe without yeast though.

You mention wanting bread 'rolls'.

Be mindful that at the best of time rolls/buns etc., will get dry/hard quicker than a loaf.

Small breads without yeast-even more so. These should be eaten on the same day, or freeze and heat.

The soda bread will stay fresher a bit longer because of the buttermilk.

(I've c/p the wheat germ one!)
