It is a 12 volt 16 amp model and does not work, Is there a way any of you can walk me through diagnosing the problem & fixing it?

It's a solar charge controller Solaris 16 is the model # It has a small LCD screen to show voltage and amps 5 leds to show what it's doing & battery condition

Check it for internal fuses. Have you any "accidents" to confess about connecting it initially.....?

Bought it used, no accidents on my part but who knows about pevious owner, he may have let some smoke out.
I only hooked it to PV panel not battery supply so maybe for some reason it needs to be hooked to both????

that wouldn't be too much of a surprise, try it.
Can't find a datasheet on line. Is it MADE by Solaris ?

once you've flagged it you just have to wait some indeterminant amount of time to see whether the admins actually follow the flagging option, and then make noise directly if ntohing is done (see about at the bottom of the screen for direct PMs to ibles' employees)
FWIW, I've flagged that author about 6 or 8 times now today, since it's clear that ?she? is spamming most of the messages that get posted.
