I have a queen box spring but need a full. Can I make my queen into a full without wrecking it?

Thanks everyone for your advice. I tend to jump into projects without thinking them through. I have the scars to prove it. This is a great website!! All of these brains to pick!

Maybe, but it would require some skills that few people have. Take a look at the inner construction of a box springs and decide for yourself if you have the skill (and tools) necessary to cut off and then rebuild one side and one end of the unit and then remake and replace the padding and cover. I know for certain I would never attempt it.

Sorry girl. If the full is bigger it would take a master craftswoman with a metals shop to accomplish your quest  goal and you could be badly hurt.

The full is actually smaller. Shorter and more narrow.
I didn't know it was smaller.
POSSIBLY. There would be a lot of sewing involved, and some heavy wire cutters.
