I have a soft wall cooler with a clear plastice liner, and I was wondering if it would be safe to brine a turkey in it?

The cooler is about 10 or 12 years old made by California Innovations with a clear plastic removeable liner.  I will give it a good thorough wash.  Their website says it is tested for safety.  I just don't wanna poison the family.

Assuming you keep the bird cool enough to prevent bacterial growth, (in the fridge is best) there should be nothing wrong with using the plastic liner as a vessel to contain the brine solution and the turkey.
