I need help mounting an NES inside of something!

I don't want to give away too much about my upcoming project, but I am basically mounting an NES into a different enclosure. (Like Yoshi's Boxx from a few years ago on Tech TV) I bought some motherboard standoffs, but they are too short. (I need roughly 1" standoffs) At first I was thinking about using epoxy to create a standoff, but that will be ugly. Also if I mess something up it will be hard to remove. Maybe take some small aluminum pipe and jam the standoffs into it?

Buy longer standoffs ! They exist. Try a decent electronics distributor
