I need help with two of my nerf guns.

I have a Longstrike and a Vulcan and I cannot get the orange sliding thing to pop off. I need to pop those off to mod the gens. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Um... kinda, I need to pop of the orange cone like things of the sides first and my internet is too slow to load those pages so I couldn't get any help there.

oh ok i get what your talking about know. those are called the charging handles, and they snap into place whenever you put them on. the first time you take them off it will be a little difficult because you will have to break the plastic piece that keeps it from coming off. just use a claw hammer, crowbar, or long screwdriver and pry it off. i promise you it might be difficult, but it DOES come off.

That seems like it would work, I was just worried about permanent damage that can't be fixed in any way. I will tell you if it works.
