I need to know the recomended ratio of sugar to water to yeast for makin wash for moonshine?

Lemonie's right. As a rule of thumb, three ounces in a gallon (imperial) will give you around 1% alcohol. A normal yeast will ferment up to about 15% before the yeast poisons itself. High alcohol tolerance yeasts will go to 20% or so.<br /> (Imperial gallon = 4.55 litres. American gallon = 3.79 litres)<br />

10%v/v start with ~2 pounds in 1 gallon (Imperial), 20% (if you've got high-tolerance yeast) twice that.
