I want to buy a new laser cutting machine. I need a suggestion.

The machine i am looking for should be approximate working aria of 45cms/100cms .  For SS, brass and aluminum cutting and engraving. Please anyone suggest me witch brand is best ?

1, Where are you in this wide world we live in.

2. If you can take the risk Ebay is most likely the cheapest - but laser tubes are delicate.

3. Metal cutting machines are industrial and therefore costly - CNC Plasma cutting may be an option

You can get a desktop sized lower power model that can etch/cut anything less dense than metal for less than a thousand dollars ranging up to about ten thousand dollars...they are in the 'less than 120 watt range'.

Problem is, cheaper infrared lasers simply don't even touch metal. Without an oxygen stream, it doesn't happen. To cut metals you need a higher power (often YAG) laser. Those can range in the tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
