In Starwars Balltfront II, what do the "Alternate Costume" codes do?

I enter them into the game, it makes the characteristic "beep," but I can't seem to figure out what it does. Help?

It should unlock their alternate costumes!

Simply go into wherever you set up your costume and the new ones should appear.

generally its in the options menu.  I have no idea where you unlock stuff in that game - just telling you how most games do codes.

Where are you getting instruction on whatever it is you're trying to do?
