Installing Java on a Tom Tom One GPS.
Hello, many of you will be familiar with the Tom Tom One GPS. I wish to run a program on the device that is written in Processing (which, I'm given to understand compiles to Java). My question therefore, is how would one go about getting the Tom Tom to run programs that are written in Java.

I was under the impression that in order to run a program written in Java, one had to download the program: www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp. I presumed the same would be necessary when using a Tom Tom.

You may be right, but you'd need something to run the Java whatever it is.

Java is just a programming language (like python, C etc.). The program linked to above is required for the computer to 'interpret' the language as it were. So essentially the question is, how does one install such a program on a tom tom.
Installation is a simple matter of copying the files across. Execution is different - what is it that you need to run?

It's the Java bits for the device then, I looked before and didn't find (even at Sun).
