For anyone that finds this question, I just found a way to do as Nick asked: http://www.instructables.com/community/Set-Graphical-Search-as-your-default-search-meth/
Works even better than the other method, I'll go ahead and give you Best Answer (Sorry Nacho :P) , because it does exactly as I had first intended. Thanks!
Having to pull up that link is more of a hassle than pressing "Graphical Search" IMO. And I think you might have meant this link. The other one just pulls up the normal search page. Thanks anyways.
. OK. Wasn't meant to be a panacea, just an option. YMMV. . When I click the link I gave, I get a graphical search, but it's not the same graphical search I get with the Graphical Search link next to the Search button. <shrug> . BTW, your link doesn't work without some editing.
Hope my above comment didn't sound rude (I read it over and it did sound very rude), and I could have sworn my link was working. Darned copy and paste. Here, this one should bring up a default graphical search of "a". Didn't there used to be a add-on for firefox that would add an 'ible search bar? Maybe there wasn't, probably just my imagination. *sigh*
. hmmmm Didn't sound at all rude to me and I can't see how you think it is. <shrug> . Did you try both links? Did you get a different looking graphical results at each? If you didn't notice, all I did with my link was delete the "a" from the search string (null search string). . Ppl have created various add-ons over the years, but I don't remember a search bar. My memory's not what it used to be. Ah! That's what search engines are for. :)
Aha! Thank you! I didn't think of searching Instructables for an addon. I was just searching for addons using Firefox. But, after adding the new "search engine", it uses graphical search, thus solving my problem! Cheers! And I highly recommend that other people use this method also. :)

You'll just have to remember to pick "graphical search" and not just "search".
