Is there any possible way to attach a strap onto a guitar that has no knobs for straps...???

Every Christmas we go caroling and i'm not skilled enough to stand and play at the same time without a strap. But my guitar has no knobs for a strap. I know there might be certain kinds of straps for this situation, but is there a way to just make a good one?

guitar center sells a little starp thing that wraps around your headstock behind the nut. it has a little strap button thing on it to connect your strap. i bought on the other day and im pretty pleased with it

yes. two methods, one uses a butt end mounted button...you then tie the other end of the strap to the guitar head just above the nut. the other uses two buttons, one mounted at the butt end, the other on the neck just above the point where it mounts to the body The pics show where they were mounted on my 6-string acoustic I would suggest that you have them installed, although you *can purchase them online and install yourself. I recommend having "locking" buttons installed if you can. they provide a higher degree of security...not for thiefs but for accidental release of the strap from the button as the strap wears. take the $ hit $...it's better than damaging your treasured instrument.
