Is there any way to add files to a massive number of zip files?

Hello, you may remember me asking how to download over 500 files. Each of those files were zip files and I've forgotten to add a readme and changelog to each of them. Is there any way to add these files to the zip's in bulk? I'm just curious here, I could have this done in half an hour of clicking and dragging.

Nice service, but it's not what I'm looking for. The closest I've gotten so far is unzipping all the folders into seporate folders (7zip does that nicely) and using a batch command to copy the files into all the folders. However, rezipping them all into separate files is the problem. I can zip them all into one single file but not into 500 different ones, which is what I need. I guess I'm looking for some kind of bulk zipper now.

Hi, I suppose, you are in tough problem and perhaps there is no other way than zipping and unzipping again. I don’t think there will be any online which can zip or unzip 500 files altogether, but yes I am aware of an online zipping unzipping utility, which provides zipping and unzipping on the single platform and can work upon up to ten files into single archive. It will take a little time, but it renders bug free and errorless compression and decompression online. Additionally, you can decompress your zipped files online and can view and download content quickly. To know more visit www.krunchIt.net

So far I'm agreeing with you, Guy. I tried using winRaR.exe as a command line tool and it kinda worked. It didn't zip text files but it zipped exe's, not exactly sure why. It'd work fine if it did but it doens't... Maybe I could get an example on how to use it right from someone here? (To add files to already zipped folders.)

I really think you're going to have to unzip/zip again.
