Is using my Peavey Raptor a good idea when i play it on a n Ampeg BA112?

the tone is all the way down to get a monster sound.

Good idea in what way?

Will it hurt the amp? No. Bass guitars output stronger signals than regular guitars, so the Raptor can't hurt it.

If you're using a ton of f/x or preamps it could conceivably damage the Ampeg, but that's true of any guitar amp. And a lot of modern SS amps have some limiting circuitry to prevent that.

Or good idea as in "sounds good?" Only you can answer that one...

(BTW, I have two Peavey Predators and really like them. And an old Ampeg Gemini II amp...)
