Looking for a relatively healthy substitute recipe for Chopped Liver.

I'm on a low fat, low sodium diet, but I will indulge in any GREAT recipe as described, if not on "plan," on occasion! I already have a healthy substitute recipe for Chopped Liver using green beans...not too thrilling...is there another out there with something that tastes more like the "Real McCoy?" Thanks!

I'd suggest a mushroom pate'. Roast the mushrooms, put them with a food processor with onion and a bit of liquid (chicken stock?), season to taste. More detailed recipes exist out on the web; I don't have mine handy right now but that's the basic outline.
