Looking for some cheap material to build solar panels, do you know where I can get them?

I've gotten some instructions on how to build your own solar panels, and I found a great site that shows you where to get some great DIY videos on solar energy - Small Solar Panels. I want to find a good online store to buy the material - some of the places I've gone to are kind of expensive. Any ideas?

Why do you say it's a ripoff? I'm apart of many forums full of people who build their own solar panels, whether it's a hobby or for building solar powered homes and businesses. It's definitely do-able.

The prime material home-made solar panels is ... Solar panels. ie: They're something you can't make yourself. The site you link to is a scam. There are dozens, if not hundreds of clones of this same site all over the net and they all are just to separate fine folks, desperate to save money, from their money. It's one of the most diabolical scams. Simply do a Google Search for scams like this and you'll quickly see them for exactly what they are.

If you're concerned about the expense of renewable energy and are in the US, the federal government as well as many state, and local governments offer financial incentives such as rebates, tax credits, property tax breaks, and grants. You can find out more by going to http://www.dsireusa.org/ and clicking on your state. (The aforementioned site is run by the department of energy and is about as legit as they come.)

It IS a rip off and I would venture that the question is just a cheap trick to bring traffic to that site.
