Microwave capacitors?

Is it possible to put 25 microwave capacitors (2kv 1uF) in series and running 40kv through it without them failing?

If you put the capacitors in PARALLEL, then the capacitance will ADD, however the voltage rating will NOT add. If you decide to put the caps in SERIES, then the voltage rating WILL add.... but the capacitance will be GREATLY reduced according to the equation:

Therefore, the answer to your question is, Yes you can do that (in series as stated) and the capacitors will not fail... but you will not have 1uF of capacitance.
Its possible, but unlikely. There is a "pro trick" where by you put the capacitors across a parallel chain of high value, high voltage rated resistors, to bias the caps to have voltage across them though.
