NE555n timer or NE555p timer?

Please Help. I want to know if I should buy a NE555n timer or a Ne555p IC. Can I do the same things with each? Is there much difference?

Thank you guys,

ne555p costs under 10c each when bought in quantities over 100. ne555n in the same situation costs moreso around 20-60c each.

i find that the only difference is that the ne555p cant exert heat as well, so any mistakes results in it frying faster than the 555n
The difference is the tolerances in voltage and current the chips can handle. They are both 555 timers.
Reading the data sheets both have a max of 18 volts and list 200 ma as the approx max.
