This would have been much, much better as a Forum Topic. With a little bit of effort, you could even have made it Featurable.

(Not, I must admit, that I follow the Forums. I already have too many time sinks. Part of the attraction of Answers, for me, is that I can pop in, be helpful (I hope), and pop out again without feeling I'm missing anything.
