I have made it through this point and find this very helpful. I have the most difficulty with orbiting the object with the Shift-click mouse wheel. There doesn't seem to be any reason to the movement or I am just not use to it. Jumps at the start and moving the mouse in a direction doesn't move it like I would expect. Is there a way to select a rotation point or some other instruction in a YouTube video that can help with that aspect?

by the way, thanks. This has been very helpful

We're glad you're enjoying it! You can re-center any part of a model by clicking on any 3D face or 2D sketch profile, then clicking the Look At button in the view tools pane at the bottom of the Canvas. This will set the center of rotation on that object. You may also want to go to -Your Name- > Preferences > General and un-check the Reverse Zoom Direction button. I find orbiting much more natural this way.
