Portable hard drive works on every other computer but mine. Any ideas how to fix this?

I recently replaced my 40 GB Fujitsu PS3 hard drive with a new, much larger one.  I figured I would put the old hard drive to use as a portable one, so I bought an enclosure for it.

Once I got it fit in the enclosure I plugged it in my computer and formatted it in the NTFS file system. My computer wouldn't let me 'explore" it, but upon trying it out on 3 other Windows 7 computers they all recognize it, and it works perfectly fine. I brought it back to mine, but it still didn't work. I've formatted it multiple times, and on different computers. It always seems to work on every other computer, but mine.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional. Does anyone have any ideas to try?

Make sure it already been mounted and mapped to a proper drive.
Right click on My Computer > Manage > Storage > Disk Management
You will find your portable HDD(if not there probably a hardware or driver issue)

Right click on the partition drive, choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths...", Change... try to use another empty drive.

Good Luck
