Powering and using a laptop screen over a single USB cable?

I Have a N156B6-L04 screen (and I would need to buy the controller board) from an old laptop and i want to use it for my laptop, but as I was researching ways on achieving this i saw the AOC e1659Fwu which powers itself in addition to connecting itself as a monitor. I if anyone can explain how to at least power the screen over USB that would be wonderful.

Your USB port can supply 5 volts at up to - see chart attached. (click to see full size)-

As long as you don't exceed the spec you will be Ok.

This means your driver board has to operate from 5 volts or you need a Dc to Dc voltage booster.
