SSD or 1,8"HDD to build in NES controller? what storage medium, how to do it?

I'd like to build something with more capacity into an NES controller. So I'd like to know what could fit. don't wanna spend that much, but quite some GB would be nice. I don't know the inner measurements of the controller sadly since mine hasn't arrived yet, but outer measures are 12,3 x 5,3 x 1,7 centimeters. thx folks

You haven't got the nes cont. yet and you're already moding it. What's wrong with you. You sound just like ME!

are you making a usb drive out of an NES controller, or are you trying to add capacity to an NES emulator?

first one. just wondering, if a 1.8hdd or any ssd could fit. best bang for the buck preferred, let me know if you have a drive in mind that could be housed in the NES controller measures above
you could probabbly use a 1.8 drive, use a non-solidstate drive, it will cost less

you can use a bunch of usb sticks with this:

Well, I'm not gonna buy it if a bigger storage isn't fitting - I don't need an USB stick in a bulky NES controller... I'm talking about putting an 1,8"drive or an SSD into an NES controller as a housing here. what could fit from the measures and what gives a good bang for the buck?
