Sewing machine?

I have an industrial sewing machine. I'd like to use it to put together the fringed bag. Do yo foresee any problems with this?

Is it a walking foot or a regular industrial? Walking foot machines are great for sewing leather, but sewing leather on non-walking foot machines can be difficult. Sometimes the leather gets stuck feeding through the machine and the stitches get bunched up or the feed dogs make marks on the leather. A walking foot machine or attachment makes sewing leather a lot more effective, so you might want to try that. It's also very unforgiving because once you sew the leather, you have made holes in it and you can't get rid of those if you've made a mistake. I suggest testing your leather on your machine before you commit. And check out this video for some tips about sewing leather on an industrial machine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QweCxtphAY8
