Single button latching circuit without blinking?

Can you provide a schematic of a latching circuit that doesnt blink when the switch is press hold.
Its an issue in this video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFwY9jfv6uU )and this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Foc9R0dC2iI) that if you hold the switch it will blink.
Less components as possible. Thanks for helping have a great day.

search for flip-flop and then think about it.

Another classic is relay based and much in use ;

it starts and stop dangerous machines and will get in stop state

in case of power failure.

The schematic is awfull , but right

You want a make before break switch which could be simulated with two latch relays or a rotary slide switch..

But then you may want to play with a GTO gate-turn-off-SCR or simply build one out of two opposing by polar transistors..

See the construct using a PNP & NPN
