Story set up help?
Okay, I am in the process of writing a story. It is an action/adventure story involving zombies. I need to find a place in the US with a high population and is not too too close to water. Any ideas? This will be the initial starting point for the main character.

Phoenix? Las Vegas? Salt Lake City? (oops, no - they have that big ol' lake :)
Or Tuscon? El Paso? Boise, ID? or Bakersfield, CA (I've been there - there ain't no water anywhere)?
A lot of places in the western US with rivers marked on the map only have enough water to speak of in those rivers for part of the year - in some places only during flash floods. Maybe you could work that into your story somehow?

New Jersey perhaps? Or... Another idea, have a zombie outbreak in the middle of the ocean, on a cruise. :D
