The instructable newsletter via e-mail on Windows 7 with Windows live mail - no images, no links.

The instructable newsletter via e-mail works fine on Apple Mail on my Macs, but not on Windows 7 with Windows live mail - no images, no links.  What can I do to fix that?  I  have checked all the preferences (settings) and can't seem to find the problem.  No error message pops up, either.  I like using our little Toshiba Netbook to check my mail, and the Instructables e-mail is the only one that gives a problem.

Actually, an error message does show up if I click on one of the links.  The link itself looks like this when I copy it to the clipboard:

wlmailhtml:{9A62DA93-D7CD-479C-B7FD-C98967C8DBC0}mid://00001245/!x-usc:http://app.streamsend.com/c/16911231/440809/C7COdCu/Bfu4?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.instructables.com%2Fid%2FRepairing-Split-Wood%2F

Any help given would be appreciated.  Thanks.
Boyd

Windows live mail is blocking the image. You need to make sure that the email is on the trusted list so it will load everything.

Thanks. I have added the addresses to my contacts and the no-block sites to see if that will make a difference - will have to wait until the next newsletter comes.

There might be a subtle little bar across the top of the email saying the links and images were blocked. You can override this each time by clicking on accept on the bar or you can follow mplichfamily's advice and set instructables as a trusted contact.

Thanks, Russell (if that is your name :-) . I get that little bar on lots of mail and it works just as you say. But it doesn't appear on the Instructables. I have added the addresses to my contacts and the no-block sites to see if that will make a difference - will have to wait until the next newsletter comes.
