Transitor?

Tôi vẫn không hiểu lắm về transtor PNP và NPN ? Nó được kết nối như thế nào và chúng hoạt động ra sao ? Làm sao để biết đâu là NPN và đâu là PNP .

If you think of plumbing, a transistor works kind of like a valve. The base of the transistor is the valve's handle and it controls how much water is able to flow from the collector to the base.

Except, a transistor is not a valve, but an electronic component. Instead of a handle, you apply an electrical signal to the base. The bigger the signal, the more electricity that can flow between the collector and emitter. This allows you to gradually turn things on and off.

An NPN transistor is a transistor whose "valve" between the collector and emitter is normally off. When you apply voltage, you turn it on.

A PNP transistor is the opposite. It is normally on. When you apply a voltage, you turn it off and prevent electricity from flowing.
