Tv cable transmission through wifi

I would like to transmit digital tv cable through wifi just by using resisters to bring the cable voltage down first. Then connect that to the correct polarity of  TX  on ethernet. Finally connect the RX of a bridge's ethernet cable to a cable amplifier finally to tv. Can I transmit digital cable tv this easily through wifi?

No, ethernet expects packets in TCP/IP format. If you feed an ethernet>wifi bridge with dtv signal, it will just think the signal is garbage noise because it doesn't follow the same protocol, and ignore it.

Think a conversation between people who speak different languages. They are both using sound/the air to transmit their messages, but if the receiving end isn't designed to understand the messages, they won't communicate.

No, its not possible to do it like that.

I have my doubts. If it was easy then their would be lots of products on the market doing it. It probably is also against your providers ToS if it works and could get your service canceled, along with a fine, if they find out.
