Using solder on wood or glass?

I would like to decorate wooden frames or glass bottles with solder, and even add stones if possible. Does anyone know the materials needed and how to do this? Thank you.

Obviously, metal solder is not going to adhere to wood or glass directly. You'll need to do something else.

For the glass bottles, you will probably want to cast your metal shapes separately, then glue them on. I have found the site http://www.thistothat.com/ provides very good guidance on what kind of glue to use for different materials.

For the wooden frame, making an inlay might be most appropriate. Use a narrow spoon chisel or gouge to make channels in the design you want, then melt the solder to fill those channels.
