Seriously, ground up hot peppers in a sweet cocoa cream.  Heaven.

I know granita is not ice cream, however, this is really good (and relaxing if you substantially increase the 2nd ingredient):

Bloody Mary Granita

Ingredients

• 1 can (14 ½ ounces) diced tomatoes (I used fresh ones)
• ¼ cup vodka
• 4 dashes hot sauce, such as Tabasco
• ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• ¼ teaspoon coarse salt
• ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• ¼ teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
• ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

1. Line an 8-inch square nonreactive baking dish with plastic wrap.
2. Puree tomatoes and juice, vodka, hot sauce, lemon juice, salt, peppers, Worcestershire sauce and ½ cup water in a blender.
3. Pour into prepared baking dish.
4. Chill in freezer, scraping every 30 minutes with fork, until frozen, 2 to 3 hours (it’s not as tedious as it sounds).

Bourbon ice cream. We made it twice last summer and it is good stuff.

Sure, the kids love it. There is probably less alcohol per serving in the ice cream than there is in a good rum cake.

Bacon Ripple. A vanilla base with crisp, well-drained bacon bits mixed into a maple syrup swirl.

No, really. It's good.

Mmmm... Pig Candy Crunch. I'm gonna have to try that next time. Maybe just make the ice cream maple-flavored and add the Pig Candy right near the end of the churning process. Yum.

My personal favorite home recipe: Take nice big strips of bacon, cover in brown sugar and bake so it caramelizes then chop it into very small pieces and blend it in with your ice cream when it is almost done or on top in sprinkle form.
