spicy chocolate!

Seriously, ground up hot peppers in a sweet cocoa cream.  Heaven.

Cinnamon goes well with chocolate, too.
I know granita is not ice cream, however, this is really good (and relaxing if you substantially increase the 2nd ingredient):

Bloody Mary Granita

• 1 can (14 ½ ounces) diced tomatoes (I used fresh ones)
• ¼ cup vodka
• 4 dashes hot sauce, such as Tabasco
• ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• ¼ teaspoon coarse salt
• ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• ¼ teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
• ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1. Line an 8-inch square nonreactive baking dish with plastic wrap.
2. Puree tomatoes and juice, vodka, hot sauce, lemon juice, salt, peppers, Worcestershire sauce and ½ cup water in a blender.
3. Pour into prepared baking dish.
4. Chill in freezer, scraping every 30 minutes with fork, until frozen, 2 to 3 hours (it’s not as tedious as it sounds).

Bourbon ice cream. We made it twice last summer and it is good stuff.

Hey Mr. P-Body! I forgot about him. I collect old cartoon memorabilia. The bourbon ice cream sounds good...hic....can kids eat it without effect I wonder?
Sure, the kids love it. There is probably less alcohol per serving in the ice cream than there is in a good rum cake.

I've actually had some Dutch style horse meat and it was actually very delicious but I can't imagine it as an ice cream flavor. Kind of like salami ice cream. Besides have you seen their game shows? They'd eat anything! lol
lol indeed but my mom and me make our own mint chip with garidehlli chocolate shavings and with out the green color we also did a really good pineapple one
Bacon Ripple. A vanilla base with crisp, well-drained bacon bits mixed into a maple syrup swirl.

No, really. It's good.

Actually I believe you when you say it's good. Think I'd candy the bacon part first. Maple cured bacon is a favorite of mine. Bacon does after all make everything taste better.
Mmmm... Pig Candy Crunch. I'm gonna have to try that next time. Maybe just make the ice cream maple-flavored and add the Pig Candy right near the end of the churning process. Yum.
Whoops. Just saw that Fuogger is way ahead of me.
My personal favorite home recipe: Take nice big strips of bacon, cover in brown sugar and bake so it caramelizes then chop it into very small pieces and blend it in with your ice cream when it is almost done or on top in sprinkle form.

Oh, this I like! A bakery around here does maple candied bacon cup cakes. They call them "man" cakes.
I just got a recipe for candied bacon and now I know how to use it. I was going to make chocolate covered candied bacon for my sister at easter but I like this better.

Do they have halapeneo pepper flavor? (I know I spelled that wrong)
jalapeno would work :D
Thanks :) I'll have to come up with something else to mix it with though. (other than chocolate)
