What is mixed with Silicon Oil to produce a high temperature foam ?

Quite a few years ago , I sure it was published in American Mag [ Suspect it was Popular Electronics ].It was a single chemical which cause the foaming .

I don't know a hell of a lot on silicone but I found this link http://www.dowcorning.com/content/webabstract/ABS_45-2146.asp (which contains a pdf at the bottom of the page) on using water as a so called "blowing agent"(i.o.w. the bubble maker) instead of chemicals. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Good question:  needs more info.

High temperature foam - like, foam that is hot, or fire extinguishing foam, or like polyurethane foam that is high temperature safe?

Also, is there a confusion between silicone (goop) and silicon (element)?
