Life has no meaning - just the day to day struggle to stay alive against all odds.
I don't mean to turn this into a religious-philosophical thread but if we think about how nature is, not only we exist but everything has being beautifully made for our enjoyment, I can't stop to see design behind everything. There is a spirituality that keeps repeating in every generation of human beings, like we are made to believe in something beyond ourselves. Even scientist talk about theories that we still don't have observable proof. Michio Kaku talks about parallel universes, teletransportation, time travel, etc. even though there is no proof that those things actually happen. Think about radio waves, no one can see them but we know that are real and we construct devices to create them and use them. I believe that there are things that exist but we haven't seen them yet. Every culture had tried to explain those things. I believe that we can try to find meaning in our lives. I don't share a nihilistic point of view about our existence.

The answer is not "42". That's just the humorous answer from a GOOD book (Bad Movie) "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. Here's a real answer: Search for Truth diligently throughout your life and at the same time "Have-A-Care." Many people search for RICHES diligently and disregard the needs of everyone else. It comes down to this ... and it is the NATIONAL MOTTO of the USA written on all our currency. There on our coinage it says, "In-God-We-Trust." However..... not every American believes THAT ANSWER to your question. You see, there are TWO answers to your question but only ONE answer is correct. Some would only add one letter to the national motto. They would say, "In GOLD We Trust". Read the book of Romans in the Bible plus read a book titled, "The Five Thousand Year Leap" by Cleon Skousen. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is a good read also..... , but ...... the real answer is not there.
