Sensors often are used to turn on a light.

There is no need to do so when ambient light is already in the area.

The non-IR sensor referrers to the ambient light sensitivity

A.
Context ?
One would say sensitivity, but Lux is weighted to human visible - IR ain't,.

Whether this(lux) parameter plays important role?Does sensitivity is related to lux of PIR sensor?
Presumably. Show me a datasheet.

Doesn't mention lux. But it DOES say the things have a CdS sensor. I wonder if the CdS sensor is what is rated in lux.
