What kind of glue should I use for this project?

I'm making keys for a SteamPunk Keyboard and I'm not sure what type of glue would be best for gluing the key shafts to the backs of the new keys. Do you have any helpful information?
 Thanks,

UPDATE: Thanks, everyone! I ended up using "E-6000". You can see the completed Instructable here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-Simpler-Steampunk-Keyboard-Win-Guy-Style/

2-part epoxy should do the trick. You can glue almost anything with it and it will be rock solid when dry.
