What sort of equipment would you recommend for creating a somewhat secure Arduino-based lock box?

In other words, what sorts of servos, locks, etc. should I get? I would like this to be somewhat secure, but it definitely doesn't need to be overkill either.

Selenoids are fine and you can even control a Schlage electronic deadbolt.  One thing to consider is how you propose getting into the device should the power or your control logic fail.  One would hate to have to *break* into your device during the development and debug phase :-)
