What went wrong with my instructable?

I'm fairly new to Instructables, but I still want my account and instructables to be the best they can be. I recently published a new instructable for the Serious Eats Pie Contest, Apple Pi(e) Tarts. It's pretty much pop tarts with apple pie filling. So far, there's only 46 views, I didn't get featured, and no one commented. I thought it was a pretty good idea and instructable, but I don't know. Please help me out and maybe tell me what went wrong. The link is here. Thanks everyone!

There's actually a forum on instructuables for people looking for help on their instructable: http://www.instructables.com/community/The-Clinic/

I personally think the recipe is good. Kind of like homemade pop tarts/portable apple pie.

You might want to look at the Featuring Checklist for some more information on getting featured.

Photos are also very important. I have a photo instructable that offers tips if you want to check that out.

Good luck!

The number of views have been really low in that contest. I would have thought that it would be popular but so far not many people have looked at it. I know, I have an entry in it also.

I think it's amazing! Nothing's wrong with it. My first instructable (a toolbox) was featured 3 months after I published it.

I once had an i'ble featured several months after it was published, and another couple that I thought would get featured and didn't.

Hang in there.

Yeah, it might take time. Just wait and see.
