What's the best Rubik's cube lubricant?

I've got myself a sticky cube, and I would like to make the twisting and solving a little more smooth for better times and less frustration. I'm cheap and some what attatched to mine, (and it may be useful for future projects) so I would like to revive it's full capabilities. I know petroleum jelly is initially effective, but ultimately eats away at the plastic. Does WD-40 work? Or just make the stickers come off? I know there are a good amount of cubers in the community, so I would like to hear the opinion of experience in order to make my cube's movement smooth and slick.

I've heard of people using powdered graphite, but that might be messy. Maybe a white lithium grease?

Update: I did a little Googling, and silicone spray lube seems to be the lube of choice among speedcubers.

Oh, yeah. Wal-Mart, Lowe's, pretty much any hardware store will have it.

I would stay away form petroleum based products, as they are indeed corrosive to your cube's plastic. Too, Vaseline is not a liquid - it creates friction, actually slowing things down. Vaseline will make your cube's action smooth, but not fast.
