What's the best way to clean bead release from lampwork beads?

I'm brand new to lampwork bead making, but have watched tons of videos and read many tutorials on the processes.

Now that I have some beginner beads made, how do I clean the bead release from the inside of the bead?

I'm using "Blue Coat" bead release from a beginner kit.  I've tried soaking them and using a mandrel to clean some of it out, but I'm inevitably left with some left inside.

I found some bead cleaning kit on Sundance Glass's website. I'm going to give that a try and we'll see how it goes.

Place your beeds on a peice of 1/8 " or 1/4 " Guy Wire between 2 upright wooden posts get the beads wet with water and move back and forth across the wire spinning as you go that should clean it out fairly well you could do several beads at a time this way ...

You could run a rough steel braided cable up and down through the middle of the bead. The kind of cables that they hang pictures with might work, or the ones from bicycle brakes.

A small fine "rat tail" round file should do the trick....move the bead and not the file though.

Have you tried a dental a high pressure Water-pic? You may want to soak the beads overnight in water or solovent. I successfully used a Water-pic to clean mask material out of small PCB through-holes.

I am surprised you don't know about this site
Pipe cleaners, also known as chenille stems. You might also try soaking in vinegar.

Thread a length of hairy string through the bead, and slide the dead up and down?
