Where can I find a circuit converting AC power of a bike dynamo (generator) to DC power?

Where can I find a circuit converting AC power of a bike dynamo (generator) which generates from 0 to 30 volts and convert it to DC power ?
The circuit should be as efficient it can be.
The dc conversion will be at 5 volts.
Can you help me ?

Thank you for all your replies. I will search for it and perhaps post an instructable too :)

. Search for "full-wave rectifier" to figure out how to get DC out of AC. Then search for "5 volt regulator" for the 5 volt part.
+1 The most efficient rectifier will not be one that can easily be constructed by a novice. I'd also suggest a full-wave bridge diode rectifier for you. You can simply purchase an encapsulated 4 pin rectifier from radio shack, digikey, ,mouser, etc., then apply the output to a 5V regulator to smooth the output.

What's your generator? The question can't be fully-answered without knowing what it is.

Do as Nacho says, rectify it to DC, then apply it to a switch mode power supply. The supply should be of the inverting type, so 0..30V in "-5V" out;. Steve
