Where can I purchase a piece of land to live in a tents-with-tunnels setup with my family?

We do want utilities (electricity, water, etc).
Where can I purchase a piece of land to live in a tents-with-tunnels setup with my family?
It would be made up of 6-8 medium sized tents connected with a tunnels system, with utilities.
I am not worried about money with this at the moment.

You sign up to all the realtors you can fine, and Trulia etc, you enter the parameters you need to find, location, prioperty type (land) and min and max price, and start hunting. You might get lucky, it might be quick, or it might take years.

To live permanently in some sort of tented structure, you need to live in one of the few remaining areas with no zoning ordinances, which usually means right out in the boonies.

Boonies? What's that?

The boondocks. Look it up.

Hill country will let you tunnel without getting rain drowned at night..

Sorry I didn't say, but this must be in Utah, USA. Not Texas.

I drove through Utah 3 times and it has hills and mountain ranges..

Lol I thought you meant Hill Country as in a proper noun.

But really, I want to be within an hour of other towns. I'll look into the Uinta mountains here.

1. No idea where you live

2. land is usually bought through an agency or from the current land owner.

3. if you not somewhere warm all year round a tent is NOt a suitable place to live on anything more then temporary basis.

4. You may find local laws prevent you doing this.

5. If your really going to be into tents look into Yurts and Domes Caravan (RV)

6. If your not worried about money buy a house like everyone else. There are reasons most of us live in a constructed house.

It would be in Utah, USA. I, personally, have never done done any home/land buying before. I'm a 17 year old doing research for my dad.

The tents will have a lot of information, and heating and cooling systems (electric).

Through a realtor? I'm not sure what sort of info you're looking for.

Climate and ground conditions seem like your biggest hurdles, with the the land.

You'll also have to look into local building codes as far as how you supply utilities. I'm guessing your best bet is something like a campground where conduit delivers utilities to each tent and then they're brought in from there.

Do you have a particular continent in mind?
