Are you looking for a Module or a Unit? A unit (in my mind) would be something like a Garmin or a Magellan with an LCD screen, data input, points of interest, etc.

A module on the other hand, is the small electronic device that receives signals from GPS Satellites (Redundant, I know) and returns basic NEMA strings, which you have to parse in a Micro-Controller or a computer.

If it's the latter, you can pick them up for as little as around $60 at Sparkfun.comor AdaFruit Industries

Define 'cheap'. Amazon has a Garmin i5 (used) for $80. That is pretty cheap, but maybe not cheap enough. (I have an i5 and like it.)
