Whereto buy LEDs?

Sure, radioshack has them(i actually just bought some) but they're expensive, even if you get the 20-pack. Anyone know about a good electronics store? I need blue and white leds, alond with other components.

mouser.com and digikey.com have just about everything, and do bulk pricing. Frys sells LED's in-store, but they're not much cheaper than Radioshack. You might consider going to a thrift store or some garage sales and buying old electronics with lots of lights and just desolder them. I usually do this for electric motors.

I just found this place which seems to have fantastic prices, and gives you info like the operating curve min/max which can be important for things like Charlieplexing: www.buy-leds-online.com

Shipping seems really steep though. $15 for 1000 LEDs?
